Moose Jaw, SK – The Downtown Moose Jaw Association (DMJA) is excited to announce the inaugural “Snowtorious Family Day”. Monday, February 20 (Family Day), the DMJA invites all Moose Javians, visitors and their families to Crescent Park for free family activities and food. Snowtorious Family Day will run from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the area in front of the Moose Jaw Public Library main entrance, including Langdon Crescent.
Activities include:
- Free hot dogs from (from 11am-2pm – sponsored by Moose Jaw Co-op)
- Free hot chocolate (sponsored by Tim Hortons)
- Wagon rides through Crescent Park (sponsored by Moose Jaw Kinsmen Club)
- Snow painting
- Fire pits & warm up locations.
- All ages street hockey on Langdon Crescent
- Appearances by the Moose Jaw Warriors (2-4pm) and the Moose Jaw Fire Department.
- 3-D printing activities and movies in the Moose Jaw Public Library.
- The Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery will feature new exhibitions from 1-5pm.
“One of the objectives of the Downtown Moose Jaw Association is to showcase our Notoriously Historic downtown assets,” said Geoff Anderson, DMJA President. “We invite everyone to rediscover Crescent Park at our first Snowtorious event, and thank all of our sponsors for allowing us to provide free, family-friendly activities so we can make it a memorable Family Day for all.”
Snowtorious Family Day sponsors include: City of Moose Jaw, Moose Jaw Co-op, Tim Hortons, Moose Jaw Kinsmen Club and Tunnels of Moose Jaw.
Incorporated in 2019, the Downtown Moose Jaw Association’s objective is to aid, stimulate, develop, and beautify the Moose Jaw Downtown Development Area.
